I recently visited a friend who's been renovating her house and I had to post these photos so that you can see just how well she has combined her collection of 1950s ceramics with modern and antique furniture. The plates and cups work really well on her 19th century dresser whilst she's housed her jugs and vases on modern Ikea bookshelves, complete with spot lights to make a real show of them in the evening. What a stunning collection that's been so well presented. Inspiration for us all.
